12 days after the surgery, improvements are beginning to show. Intense physical therapy every day is helping gain movement to Rita's upper body and she now has feeling down to her hands and mobility is almost there. She moved her right foot (gas pedal) yesterday in therapy. Her spirits are improving and she wants everyone to know how much we are humbled by the outpouring of support. The medical team, prayer and positive thought, and nature are all working for her recovery. I will meet with the entire team and Doctors on the 22nd and will update you all then. Thank you!
It is with a heavy heart that I need to inform you all that Rita Talmas (Simbeck) suffered a severe spinal cord injury in a freak accident/fall at home on October 4th. My wife of 33 years and superior business partner required emergency surgery at the Penn State Hershey Medical center that day to alleviate pressure in her neck/spinal area. She has been transfered to the Penn State Hershey Rehabilitation Facility @ 1135 Old West Chocolate Ave. in Hummelstown PA 17036. She is currently in room 1015 undergoing intensive rehabilitation. Her return to Gemini Ent. and home is unknown at this time. Everyones' thoughts and prayers are helping us to cope during this difficult time. I will be absent from our business at various times due to travel and help in her recovery. My staff is doing their best to accommodate all our loyal customers. Thank you to everyone during this time and I will post timely updates as this situation improves.
John Simbeck, Imeh and Wally.
